The garden pond

It's been a cold day today with icy patches ane slushy snow remains from yesterday.

I had a day at home putting Christmas decorations away and a few other things.  My pond was covered in ice this morning which had partly thawed by this afternoon. The garden was looking a bit miserable so the pond is my blip. 

There are some pigeon feathers around including in the pond.  It could have been a sparrowhawk but I suspectnext door's cat that is often hanging around the bird feeders
