A chilly walk.

We have a faulty smoke detector in the house which intermittently produces a high pitched beep which literally sends poor Juneau bonkers. 
While we were out the Captain started trying to work out which of the interconnected alarms is the faulty one.  Not easy!
More online gremlins too. It must be the time of year!
Have arranged a meeting with my boss to drop the bombshell. Will be glad to get that out of the way.
