Man of Snow

Back blip 3 of 3

After a wonderful 2 weeks with family (1 in Lincoln with my parents, 1 in Swindon with Sophia's dad and brother), I unfortunately had to return to Leeds today for work tomorrow. 

Even though it had snowed a bit in Swindon last night, it rained in the morning and it was also warm for January, so the snow was all gone. A very different story to the North though, where snow had been causing chaos. Fortunately the roads were quiet (when I travelled in the afternoon at least) but as I reached Yorkshire, conditions were pretty rough. 

I got back in one piece though, and saw this guy hanging around as I turned onto my street! I managed to put a load of washing on and unpack my stuff with time to chill for a bit before bed.
