Sunny Silver Birch

We had quite a lot of rain overnight and early today so a lot of the snow has washed away! River levels are now quite high!

We did have a trip out for fresh fruit and veg - and there were some bargain mince pies - 25p for a box of six (in Aldi). There were stacks of them and they are very nice too, so I may return for a few more :-)

Walking was a lot easier today in the slushy snow - and a lot of the paths were clear.

The sun even came out around 14:30 - and that’s when I spotted this silver birch tree shining brightly with the grey clouds behind.
