Coach and Team

S was so pleased that his team won the competition in Forfar today. Well done lads!

He didn’t have to be there till 12 so I asked him if he would take me to Nero for breakfast to get out from the four walls! We were there about 9:30 and had a nice coffee and almond croissant.

There was entertainment upstairs in the shape of a 20 something Asian girl who was amusing herself while her male partner was up in the loos. He must have had problems as she spent 10 mins making a Tik Tok with various dance moves with elaborate arm and face movements. The music she played while making it was loud and jarring and this older (than me) lady at the far end asked her to turn it off. She did for a little time the. She went up to the long mirror along the wall where the lady was and started again . This time the lady told her that this was a Cafe not a film set which I found hilarious. Eventually the guy came back from whatever he was doing and they went downstairs to the sounds of the crazy music . It was very entertaining.

I took back a coat I bought in M and s in November and hadn’t worn. I am puzzled why I bought it as I don’t wear long dressy coats I mostly wear the long padded cosy coats (current one is a Rab) with furry hoods. Maybe I thought I was going to change my style , who knows. But the tag was still in it and the receipt in the drawer so I got my refund.

Picked up some blueberries and prawns and bumped into a guy, George, who used to live above me when I first came to Perth in 1980. Then he was married to a crazy woman who used to get drunk and fight with people but he moved on to someone else and lived a peaceful life without high drama. I hadn’t seen him for so long and he is retiring next month.
