Homeward bound

Before we left for the airport we had time for some serious window-shopping. My Sydneysider friend took me to her favourite frock shop (in QVB) which had a 20% off sale (extra). Now I know why I always look drab when I stand next to her, but the opportunity to wear clothes like these in London is next to zero.

I couldn’t leave Sydney without posting one of the ubiquitous ibis. This one is perching on church rails hoping I am about to get out a lunchtime sandwich. People eating in the streets attract pigeons, seagulls and ibis who are the top of the pecking order. Australians don’t like them but I find them amusing :-)
