Super easy trip back, gosh, it's great when that happens!  Nice view of Pacifica and Half Moon Bay as we were doing the turn to land at SFO.  The Farallones were visible, too.

Dark and rainy Portland when we departed.  I was quite happy to see the sun and stuff my raincoat in my bag when we landed.

When I finish a book on a flight I always leave it in the seat pocket, this flight is the first time I’ve discovered a book someone else had left.  I was delighted.  Rachel Hawkins is not a writer I’m familiar with, but it looks like an entertaining read so I'm happy to try it especially as it’s a freebie. (extra)
