Not snow!

While much of the country has been enveloped in the  white stuff today, this is the closest we got ( ice cream, pears and chocolate sauce, AKA Pear Belle Helene).
Here we've had grey skies and rain all day.
I only ventured out to see my Mum who was fine. They had had a short piano recital,  followed by singing along to music from The King and I, just perfect for the care home residents who remember films from  1950s very well.
