East London divided

Last night’s snow had all gone by the time I surfaced this morning. The country is divided, temperature wise, and we are experiencing milder weather than those in the frozen north.

We did have rain though, so not much doing today except to say goodbye to the Christmas tree and other decorations. Mr C and I had an early-ish dinner and then took advantage of a break in the weather to head out for a walk. Where we got caught in a rain shower. So here’s the canal in the rain, the only picture I took today. We’re slowly watching the disused gasometers being turned into expensive flats.
