That's it...

for another year. We've reached 12th Night when Christmas decorations are supposed to come down. Tomorrow is Epiphany when the Three Wise Men are said to have arrived in Bethlehem so, as they followed the star (or was it actually Haley's Comet), we have kept the illuminated star on in our front window for one more  evening. This photo was actually taken at the tip yesterday and our tree was still twinkling away last night. We stripped it of lights, baubles and tinsel this afternoon and I'll take it out tomorrow. We used to be able to recycle the tree through a collection point in Chobham car park but that service is not being provided this year so it looks like our tree will be heading to the tip as well, unless we can find some hungry goats locally.
