Marking time...

.....no wake-up call from Sparky this morning and I overslept as a result. Nancy got up and put-out his breakfast, but it went untouched. Eventually, we tracked him down and his breathing was shallow and rapid. Not good.  We secured an early appointment at Greenside Vets and he received an early appointment and a good dose of steroids. The vet broached the subject of euthanasia before I left, but we agreed to give it 24hours. I briefed Nancy on my return to the house and she struggled for the remainder of the day. Fingers crossed he responds to the treatment.
