Finished my first book of the year.
Bliss
Miserable day outside so decided to use another gift voucher this time Chez Jules.
Wow the food was spectacular and only £12.90 for three courses plus complimentary salad, bread and olives
French Onion Soup with Gruyère - scrumptious
Steak frites - stupendous
Panna cotta - divine

Only one hitch. The voucher young H had bought was for Chez Jules in … Chester
Ooops ;)))
Apparently happens all the time , a hangover form the Pierre Levicky chain being sold off and all the restaurants being independent of each other
However for £36 including the gin and wine, great atmosphere on a sodden day, we were happy

Dropped in the other H cosied in his flat in Cumberland Street, cuppa tea and helped them with their chocolate supply
