Tale of two cities

I took the image on the left at 01.30am on our drive home from the gig in Hull …….

It was raining as we loaded the van & hit the road, once over the humber bridge & into Lincolnshire the snow started to fall quite heavily. It was like this all the way into Lincoln itself, but then it disappeared, very little near C’s and nothing at all, except rain all day today.

The image on the right was taken from my Ring doorbell at my home this morning…. different story all together!

My plan was to go home after C’s gig in Buxton tonight. The gig has been cancelled due to snow. Both the Woodhead Pass & the Snake Pass have been closed, so no going home for me tonight , again!

Looking like the M62 in the morning, think that will be fun over the Pennines on the first day back to work & school after the holidays :-/
