"Feed Me!!"

We woke this morning to an inch or two of snow - albeit very wet snow which is melting fast as it soon started raining hard. Anyway while having breakfast I spotted this pigeon sitting on the bird table, giving me a hard stare, as if to say "Where's my food...?!". Well of course I had to feed it. We already had some pork fat cut up ready to feed the birds so I took it straight out. Naturally it flew off when it saw me coming but it soon came back although it stood there for a while (middle photo) not quite sure what to do (well it does only have a bird brain after all!).  But it soon started tucking in and polished off the lot, although it turned its back to the camera while doing so.
