Snowy night

Sleep was not my companion last night and spent quite a bit of time watching the snow falling !!
From looking at blip I wasn’t alone!!
It was so calm and quiet, though I did wonder who had been out in out quiet road at 1.30am
I still have total excitement when it snows, but this was the first year that I felt too nervous to go out for a walk in it, except stand in the garden by the back door.
Maybe it’s the result of falling over a few times this year, I don’t know… it would after all be a soft landing!
The tree has come down today, day before Epiphany but I made use of the time.
The star on the outside of the house is still shining for the Wise Men!
It takes a while to get used to the lack of twinkly lights, though I have kept one set.. they aren’t just for Christmas!
