Fierce Freezing Face

So, as promised, it snowed last night. Just enough to.look pretty. (Except this patch!) Enough, I am told, to have made the children very excited.

I've spent most of the day whimpering by the log-burner. It doesn't make the pain go away, but it makes me feel better. Saving painkillers till bedtime.

Thank you soooo much for all the good wishes you left on my Friday blip. I really do appreciate your kindness. 

Son's now gone home and daughter, too, who popped over for a short solo visit. But it's been wonderful for both of us to have their loving support.
