EPIPHANY SUNDAY

Alas I could only see the service on line again today,I would have rather been in church but my leg wound got in the way. I must say I really enjoyed the service all the same , I great sermon given by a guy who I’d known for years.
Now for the leg story, the dressing that had been put on on Friday ( supposed to last util Monday / Tuesday) by Saturday morning was just full of fluid and leaking from said dressing my nurse friend came down to redress it for me. as she removed the dressing , with difficulty not to tear any more skin? the fluid

just ran out good job she had the carpet protected we realised this had to seen again , I only had small dressings available now. So it began
# Rang 111, long integration , this understood but not the repeated questions I was then put through to a nurse. Really lovely girl she then tried to get a district nurse she had no joy rang me back three
times, finally she Put me through for contact
With the out of hours team who would ring me. At 11.00pm I was still waiting so I went to bed , not a wink of sleep did I have? Finally 3.20am the phone rang ? As I was unable to reach it in time a message was left( we will ring again but if you need us ring 111 ?
# 9.45 am I had a call from the out of hours team, a lovely lady after hearing my story ( so far ) she said she would contact a GP in London who would ring me !! Sigh, this she did about 2 hours afterwards a lovely nurse arrived, renewed the dressing , said below
knee wounds should have a bandage on! Both my friend & I said this yesterday! Result will order bandages & redress Tuesday & Fridays, just hope it will stop leaking & the healing will occur soon.so now it’s. The end of a frustrating 2 days.
My blip Shows my Christmas cards as it the last day then they will go ! But family ones displayed tomorrow.
