Tulips
While the north is freezing with snow we were a 'balmy' 12C today with constant rain. The rain is miserable though, I think I would rather have snow.
Today was all about settling back into things. We went grocery shopping to stock up the fridge, I washed the bedding that was used over Christmas, and generally it has been a quiet day around the house with some laundry and ironing.
It was too wet and miserable to even consider photos outside, so I took a photo of the tulips I bought today, taken with no lighting and as it was getting dark outside it has the moody cool effect I was trying to create.
Tommy and Inca arrived back from Australia today, and he has returned from a very hot Sydney to a cold and snowy Munich. We will see him on Friday when he comes to the UK for Adam's farewell dinner.
I have so much TV to catch up on - I really enjoyed the easy viewing of Moonflower Murders, admiring the clothing worn by Lesley Manville as much as the film locations.
Tomorrow it is back to normal as we settle into the new year.
