Not Enjoyable.

Not the most enjoyable walk this morning. Remnants of last nights snow being rained on heavily. I think Ali was pleased to get back home.

The snow arrived about 10pm yesterday and our local weather Guys said it would be gone by 7am. Our local Facebook weather page was full of pictures of children out sledging, building snowmen and making snow angels at midnight last night! What memories those parents helped them to create. Don't think I'd have been that devoted!

Sad news from the owner of Ali's sister April. They had to have her PTS on Friday. This makes Ali the only surviving bitch from that litter. What's more heartbreaking is the fact April was Carole's lifeline to the outside world. Her husband has dementia, and is not in a good way. April was Carole's 4th. Beardie from me since the 70's, so she has become a close friend, although she lives in the Midlands. I dread the day we go down to no dogs.
