Waiting their turn

This Cape Weaver and Southern Red Bishop were in the queue for the bird feeder. I can spent ages in my study watching the birds at the feeders. But I must make the area more photo friendly - it's not easy to get these photos perched uncomfortably at the window!
It's been slightly overcast today and a wee bit cooler, but no sign of rain.  
Church this morning and then I took the Christmas decorations down - it's always a good time to sort out unwanted decorations, but I never seem to get rid of them. The unwanted box is getting fuller!  I then had a cleaning frenzy in the house until sister M came for lunch. 
Cleaning up after two dogs that shed is an ongoing irritating process!!
The year starts tomorrow with many people returning to work. I go back to aqua and hopefully will start planning our year!!   I look forward to daughter Penni arriving in SA on the 8th of this month.
