Bye bye Christmas?

We've not taken the tree down or other decorations. But I have got rid of the cards now.
It seems that Mme MB wants us to keep the tree up until after my birthday, which will be just a tad late compared to most out there.

It has been freezing the last couple of days. I've not been shopping since before the Christmas holidays, so Mme MB thought it was about time we went to get a few bits and bobs. Which turned out to be almost a full shop. So I decided to go along to help her (something I should do more often). It was really cold out, so we were glad to get into a nicely heated local Lidl.
I'm usually quite fast when I do the shopping and I suppose with the two of us, we got it done fairly quickly. But Mme MB bought some extra items that weren't on the list. Something I don't tend to do. It has been mentioned that I tend to buy the same things.
