This little picture is a Carl Larson print, showing some little boys and girls listening at the door of......their father's study? Were their parents having a serious talk, or planning a birthday celebration?
Who knows, but it makes an engaging picture.
I had two meetings to go to in the village today, which took from 6.30 until almost 10 pm.
And tomorrow evening there is a skittles evening down at the pub to raise money for a special charity project.
Who said rural life was quiet and dull?
