Last night in Sydney ...

Well it may be and just for this trip and that depends on whether my brother returns home tomorrow.  I decided I better get a shot of the bridge and opera house from Mrs Macquaries Chair.  I have to say I was quite surprised at the number of like minded tourists doing exactly the same thing.  Well I suppose it is that time of year isn't it, lots of tourists.

It was an uncomfortable 31C in the house here today even though I had closed it all off relatively early.  Mum doesn't have any aircon so these hot days are hard to bear.  It is still around 27C as I type this at 10 pm and tomorrow is going to be hotter and then, hopefully, the change and rain will come.  Bring it on I say.

And I have been forgetting but R sent me the photo in the extra of Antipodes moored in Eden, with Caro and Celestial (Whisper) who won the Sydney to Hobart on Handicap rafted up next to them.  Antipodes is the pale blue hull.  I bet there have been lots of tall tales in the clubs over the last few nights when those sailors get together.  They are all there waiting until the next Southerly when they will do the last leg to Sydney.  I told you they take it pretty easy on the way back.
