Aconites

TT went off to church, and BB went off to rugby training, so I had to hang around at home, waiting for a delivery. I spent ages trying to find a recipe, only for the penny to drop later. I had been looking in the wrong books!

Once TT was home, I popped out for a few bits of shopping, including a visit to the post office, which I thought would be empty. How wrong I was, as I waited ages in the queue. I had a quick walk by the river, picked up some provisions, and came home to sort out lunch.

The boys then headed into Edinburgh to watch the Edinburgh:Glasgow rugby game at Murrayfield. After the package was delivered and signed for, I went for a very local walk, then came home and sorted out tea. The boys went for a drink after the match, which neither particularly enjoyed. BB stayed in town to meet up with friends to celebrate a 19th birthday, and TT eventually made it home. I was catching up with Black Doves, but had had to re-watch the episode when I fell asleep.

I spotted these aconites this afternoon, and had to scramble under branches to get a picture. It does seem early, though I spotted them on Christmas Day a few years ago.
