Low lights

Christmas is over and the first Monday of January is reported to be the lowest day of the year, although, I feel it today.
I love Christmas lights, but hate the darkness and cold aftermath of Christmas.
Sleep and rest are the order of the day. Back to work wasn't as awful as I feared, but still wasn't enjoyable either. I did what I had to and made sure I caught up from annual leave, but did feel like I was just going through the motions.
The kids are playing up and are dreading going back to school. I can see this getting worse the closer to 6th January we get. 
A bit of a down blog today, apologies, but I'm trying to be honest with myself.
