Simply Flax…..

The flax is growing on the stopbank. The early sun is touching the distant Wither Hills. We had some sunshine this morning but alas later the day became cloudy and quite cool. Amazingly there were brief flurries of snow reported on the Desert Road in the central North Island. Luckily it didn’t settle. Snow is very unusual occurrence during mid-summer.
I spent most of the day catching up with indoor tasks, emails and phone calls. It was quite satisfying to spend time just pottering.
