Ullswater

I left it a bit late getting going (although I still managed to skate down my garden path which was sheet ice) but had a couple of mini missions. I went to Rheged to get a new home card originally with the intention of getting a plant as well and taking it to A who has moved from near Millom to St.Bees but it was far too late to head over there so I went on my other mini mission to go and visit the alders on Gowbarrow. I meandered on the fell for a while hoping to spot nitrogen nodules on the roots but i don’t think I did unless those beautiful red jewels under the water were them. There was a rather lovely bracket fungus.
