Devastating fire at Telegraph Cove!

Very sad to report a devastating fire at Telegraph Cove on Vancouver Island on New Year's Eve.  This lovely little community was where Jane and I started our wild Orca week on Hansen Island with Kingfisher Wilderness Adventure in 2017, and it had the old frontier feel to it with its ancient boardwalks and lovely sense of friendly welcome.  Sadly a deal of the old structures and buildings have been destroyed.  I am sure my Dad visited there and created some paintings of the place way back in the early 1950s.
