The Royals

1962.  Charles was a fairly new teenager at 14 and the 12 year old Anne was hot on his heels.  Prince Edward was still just a gleam in Prince Philip's eye but Andrew was a boisterous two year old.  To this day I'm not sure why my mother thought that a nine year old me would be interested in a book of photos of a two year old boy, his mother and some Corgis, Royal or not, but buy it for me she did and it's probably a testament to how interested I was that it is still pretty much in mint condition apart from natural ageing.

It's all fairly mundane stuff but I wonder whether the shot of him allowing the Corgi's onto the sofa where they were not permitted was a precursor of transgressions to come?
