Anticipation

It was busy round the feeders this morning. I wonder if the birds have an instinct for when snow is about to arrive. this Blackbird was in the waiting area, whilst the House Sparrows had their fill from the feeders. I piled some food onto the table so that it would be sheltered  from the snow. it hasn’t arrived yet, but the forecasters seem pretty confident.
