Icy Dicey!

Ice, ice, ice...everywhere!! 

Today's planned bike ride with Matthew was quickly replanned as a walk together yesterday evening based on the weather forecast. You simple cannot risk the icy roads on two wheels! 

As I was driving to Matthew's, he gave me a ring to tell me not to go near his road because it was more like an ice skating rink than anything else. I parked round the corner on the main road and shuffled my way round to his!! 

However, we managed a cold but lovely, long stroll from Baildon taking in Thackley, Shipley, Saltaire and Shipley Glen. We were well wrapped up that's for sure. On our way we also nipped into Salts Mill because, after all, it's always worth a look around. 

I was staying over at Matthew's but this plan was also rearranged last night because given the forecast it doesn't seem wise...snow!

Oh and nail painting, tomorrow afternoon as a shake me up! :-P
