The Blue Shard

This was taken from a porthole on the HMS Belfast although I had to crop it a bit as there was too much of the lovely brown Thames in the shot.

It started off really sunny but then went very dark for a while just before a late afternoon shower came and went. I had quite a few different shots for the day and stuck a couple of them on blipfolio while I was experimenting with the low light and dark clouds here..

This shot was earlier in the day when it looked like it was smoking clouds through a tall chimney :-)
