#18 The Eisenhower decision; Monday June 5th 1944
We finally made it down the road to Tewkesbury to see The Longest Yarn which is an 80 display cabinet depiction of D Day in knitting. Absolutely wonderful work .
Yes it was busy, we had to queue but in a way it was good because the progress past the cabinets was slow so we had time to really take in the detail , whereas we may have been quicker left to our own devices
It’s only on til Tuesday , then goes off to Enniskillen Norwich and Peterborough.
Well worth catching…
