Hat and Cardigan

 
I walked to the village this morning to return a parcel and purchase a couple of things; they were out of stock of both items. I have not had a grocery lorry or shopped for groceries as I want to empty the freezer and larder a little.
 
This afternoon I sewed up a baby cardigan and sewed on the buttons; this is today’s picture. There is a blanket to go with the set, which is not quite finished. It seems that babies these days should not have knitted blankets, no idea why as the charities and hospitals are still asking for knitted blankets.
 
There was a very heavy frost this morning, the day was overcast and dull with the temperature, at noon today, rising only to two degrees Celsius.
