Lego falcon

Wind has definitely picked up this morning. Took mum to the train and got her settled in her seat. Spent the morning doing a bit more on the calendar for next year before mum called to say her train had broken down  before Moffet and they couldn’t fix it. They had to send a train out from Newcastle to get them off and taken them back to Newcastle. Headed up to the train station to see if we could ensure she got on a train but no one there could help, even though she had assisted travel booked they can only deal with the assistance at Edinburgh and can’t talk to any other station to ensure she was looked after, and the government wonder why people don’t want to use the trains, also mums phone wasn’t working as they were switching her new sim over to her old number so I couldn’t call her. As we couldn’t do anything else we watched Deadpool and Wolverine, mum called about 4 to say she was still at Newcastle and would be on a train at 4.40 to Brum and she was with another lady who was going there as well, she called about 5 to say she was on the train but didn’t know what time she would get home, on the plus side at least mum managed to use her new phone. Pizza for tea and took the dogs for. Quick walk in the wind and drizzle, to Kilda disgust. We were going to sit down and watch a film when J’s old school friend, VI, called so she spent 2 hours talking to her while I did some more on the Lego Falcon.
