yes, it is strictly necessary for me to have 5 tennis balls. Just in case.

Just in case one rolls under the sink.

And just in case aprecious inadvertently puts one out of my reach on the table.

Just in case I get a bit vigorous removing the fluff.

And just in case something else happens I haven't thought of yet.
