Grey Heron

More of the loch frozen over and the path up to the loch was like an ice rink. 6 hungry heron today. The 4 youngsters, the little female and the noisy male. This is a young female again. I posted her on Thursday as well. She still has some down feathers on her head as does one of the young males. I have never seen them retain down for such a long time.
