Lunch

Went to see Linda this morning as I had left some stuff in her fridge and needed to collect it. I got there a big late at seven minutes past eleven as I walked round towards mount wise as it was in sunshine, a beautiful but very fresh day! We sat and chatted for a while then I looked and it was quarter to one! I very cheekily asked for a lift to see Richard and she said we should have lunch first, cheese on toast with tomato and salad grown in a pot on the balcony! It was very tasty being truffle cheddar from M&S!!

Richard was asleep when I got there but I had taken him his Christmas present which was a pot of honey and some orange and ginger marmalade both of which he immediately opened and stuck his finger in to try them!! He particularly liked the marmalade! He asked me to get a spoon which I did and he also drank some of the orange juice I had taken him! I was just about to leave when another couple of friends arrived to see him which was a real treat! Feel very blessed that I was given a lift to the home and very happy to walk back to get the bus back to town to buy some E45 cream for Richard’s feet.

When I got back I began cooking some beef bourgignon which I will finish off tomorrow with the bacon shallots and mushrooms and then maybe take a picture!
