Raspberry Rain
Today when I went out to my friend's music studio for our music time we took a short break to watch one of her fields of raspberries get a genuine watering. We were between songs when she said she liked to watch the raspberries getting watered. Since her studio is right by the raspberry fields, it was no big deal to take a few minutes out to watch this process. I took my camera as I knew this could be a blip moment.
The round object in the foreground holds the watering hose which is like a huge garden hose. The tractor moves along the field to stretch the hose the length of the field. A pump shoots the water high and over the baby plants like it is raining. Then watch theses plants grow! At the right time these raspberry plants will be removed from this field and put in storage to be planted later at a another location and become a wonderful crop of delicious raspberries.
Just before we went back in the studio Sue picked two lovely zucchinis from her garden and gave them to me. Ah, the wonder of farming and produce.
