Snaw Fanns at Maryfield Farm

Another cold day and cold wind, reached a high of 0⁰c.  Lovely spells of sunshine and blue skies, with more snow passing over.

Back to work, but it was a while waiting before the essykerts could safely leave the depot.  I headed out with Andrea in the pickup, we were doing side road black bag collections where the big essykert couldn't get through.  Walkies after work.  A fine lazy evening at home, last walkies and then might pop for a couple of late birthday pints.

One thing I love about winter, proper winter weather.  I always find the snow bright and cheerful, you can always wrap up to stay warm.  I wasn't half chilly this morning, my feet were frozen for a bit but once we got moving, I soon warmed up.  We stopped here to collect waste, the winds were whisking up the snow, creating fanns (drifts) along the walls, all the while, the sun was shining behind me.  We battled through it, and got the job done.  Taken at Maryfield Farm, Bressay.
