Nature's decorations

Quite a hard frost last night saw temperatures in the sheltered back garden fall to minus 6C, in fact the frost remained all day. Just for a change some foliage shots , firstly a Chusan  Palm and in the extra a self sown Holly, all of  1 foot in height, plus an Azalea  which is catching the first rays of the sun and a Flax where the cold temperatures caused the leaves to curl inwards for protection - something that rarely happens here. Otherwise a sunny but bitterly cold day.
