There were lots of patches of ice on our river wall walk from Melton to Woodbridge this morning, but the brilliant sunshine more than compensated for the freezing cold conditions.   
The tide was well out and there were lots of waders and water fowl feeding in the mud on the shoreline.   The Teal, especially the male, looked beautiful with the sunshine highlighting their beautifully coloured plumage.
