A Long Time Coming

Len was disappointed that there was no market in Shepshed today where he could buy fish for supper. I suggested that we motor to Morrisons where there is a fish counter. We had to drive into Loughborough and from there on the ring road as the road to Hathern from Shepshed is blocked for repairs to a water main.

I was able to jaunt around Morrisons on a store scooter. Immensely enjoyable. Len walked Basil by the Black Brook while I was inside. Thereafter, we went to Olivia's at The Outwoods where Basil had another walk and I had a latte.

Workmen from County Drains were working on the drains of the outside loos. And a very good thing too. They've been stinking for ages.
