Black on Red

My day was busier than expected, with work, chores, grocery shopping and paperwork. For all the indoor jobs, I had company from the cats, which wasn’t always easy. 

Chaiyya was in a whiny mood, because her sister occupied her favourite nest. Finally, I took the fluffy red blanket from a comfy chair and made her a special bed next to my desk. 

Ten minutes later, she was fast asleep on it.
