Rhododendron bud

We had frost this morning, unusual in west Cornwall, then by early afternoon as I walked around the gardens the temperature was 5 degrees above freezing. My extra is a magnolia bud. Both of these shrubs will soon be covered in blooms and looking glorious; I will definitely revisit them in two or three weeks' time.
