Denbigh Castle

FRIDAY

Yesterday morning’s Ocado delivery was suspended due to the delivery van breaking down which in itself was a bit of a nuisance. To make matters worse, the website had no convenient re-delivery slots and then this morning, just to take the biscuit,  Ocado decided to charge my credit card for the full amount of the undelivered groceries.  So, I was on the phone first thing.

The weather today was rubbish and the forecast for the weekend is no better. Very cold with heavy rain which may turn to ice and snow tomorrow. I managed to dodge the worst of the showers to remove the festive lights from the potted outdoor Christmas tree and move it round to the back of the house. 

I also made it into Denbigh to run a few errands, and most importantly, stock up on coffee. Whilst there, I snapped a quick photo of Denbigh Castle just before 4:00 pm and it was still light!
