Frosty

Only out to the garden briefly to put food & water out for the birds. All the watering stations were frozen solid.

Seen the blackbird, sparrows, robin and lots of magpies.

It was too icy on the roads & pavements so opted for a rest day.

Can see the garden plants are still icy and hoping the fresh growth hasn’t got frost damage.

Booked Appt phone call this morning from MacMillan Cancer Support to introduce my Link Worker to help with linking me to any services that can provide the support I wish / need & finding out about things in the community I don’t know about or where the nearest is.

Support can be on phone, video call or meeting up for cuppa chat to visiting a support centre.

Similar idea to Link Workers that are in GP Practices that support patients referred by GP but specifically for cancer patients linked through the hospital referral from Nurse supporting me through surgery.

Difficult to decide at the moment when unsure yet of further treatments.

A good start to getting some structure back. And to know there is support there and if they can’t help directly they know who can refer to.
