I noticed this leaf frozen under the surface of our pond this morning. 
It’s bitterly cold out and we have an Amber weather warning for snow this weekend. I slipped and fell spectacularly on black ice on the path from our front door when I went out just before lunchtime. Fortunately I bounced well and nothing is broken, but my back and hip are very sore and stiff now. Hopefully a hot bath will help this evening.
