It's AbstractThursday!

It is not only AbstractThursday but the first abstract in the first month of a new year!  You will see that I have managed to put that year into my abstract which started life as a photo of the bunch of beautiful flowers given to me by my sister-in-law at yesterday's little NYD gathering.  The original photo was treated to the motion blur filter, duplicated and then made into a double exposure with one of the pics turned 45 degrees.  I did a bit of distorting and voila! 
I didn't manage to take photos at our small gathering yesterday, too busy preparing food and then chatting to our guests.  The flowers will appear on Blipfoto in their real form, probably tomorrow.
