Manly

I've have a fabulous day today.  Left the house just after 8.0am with B, picked up granddaughter A, caught the train and we were on Manly just before 10.30am !. The ferry was a trip I won't forget. (yes Mr Hobbs, took your advice) I was expecting a gentle cruise across, but we seemed to fly along, and had super views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from the back of the boat. With the spray on our faces, it was an exhilarating experience. After a coffee/tea, we wandered through the town browsing, and bought a few souvenirs, and at the beach, we all had a paddle.  Weather good, not too hot and a nice breeze. Fish and chips later, it had to be done, and an ice-cream at Circular Quay after the ferry boat back. Train times perfect, dropped A back home, and drove on to Woonona. A bit weary, I'll sleep well tonight!!
